01.Decoding the detection principle of SDC2 methylation
The SDC2 gene encodes connexin 2, which is a key factor in maintaining intercellular signal transduction and inhibiting tumor metastasis. Studies have shown that the hypermethylation of SDC2 gene promoter region can occur in the early stage of colorectal cancer, leading to the inactivation of tumor suppressor function and promoting the proliferation and invasion of cancer cells.
YZY MED uses PCR-fluorescent probe method to design specific primers and probe combinations according to the methylation sequence of human SDC2 gene to achieve accurate capture of SDC2 gene methylation signal in fecal exfoliated cells.
